The Best Engineers Fail Spectacularly
How visible failure, trust, and data foundations fuel executive-level impact.
Read more →I lead data-platform strategy and engineering teams across J.P. Morgan's global technology centers, and govern a STEAM community of 25,000+ students as a RoboCup Federation Trustee — two roles that have advanced in lockstep for 14 years.
I’ll be on the ground at the world championship as a Federation Trustee. Follow the action.
Follow RoboCup 2026 →Our RoboCup platform is a finalist for Power of the Platform — I'll be there live at Cvent CONNECT. Cheer us on.
See the finalists →Not planned — a pattern. Leading 700 volunteers without authority built influence that accelerated my career path; J.P. Morgan's operational rigor let me modernize RoboCup at global scale. The two careers compounded.
Not two separate careers — one integrated journey, where each world makes the other stronger.

I'm a technology executive and community builder at the intersection of wealth management and global robotics education — leading AI-driven platforms at J.P. Morgan and governance for RoboCup's worldwide STEAM ecosystem.
As VP & Senior Lead Software Engineer in J.P. Morgan's International Private Bank, I lead data-platform strategy across global engineering centers — working bilingually in English and Spanish across the US and Mexico — and advise Executive Directors on multi-year direction. Most recently I built a responsible AI-adoption framework for the Brokerage platform: governance that lets engineering teams move fast without creating risk.
My leadership style is human: I make advanced AI approachable for the people who act on it, coach the teams who build it, and turn strategy into things that ship (ideally celebrated with tacos after the demo).
Off the clock, I'm a devoted Broadway fan — I've seen a show in every active Broadway theater in Manhattan. Turns out the "every role" thing isn't just a RoboCup habit.
Lead data-platform strategy and delivery for the International Private Bank across global engineering centers — advising Executive Directors on multi-year technology direction and establishing responsible AI adoption that strengthens delivery teams.
Represent RoboCupJunior globally — shaping robotics-education strategy and competition standards, and leading initiatives that reach 25,000+ students across 45+ countries to foster the next generation of technology innovators.
Thirteen countries. Five continents. On the ground.
For over a decade I’ve built and led volunteer and engineering teams around the world — most of them working in a language that isn’t their first. Reading how each culture operates, and earning trust across all of them, is the actual job. The two countries I’ve called home — Mexico and the United States — anchor both worlds.
Top 4 of 63 global entries — sole architect of the RoboCup World Championship platform, up against GBTA, SAS & Workhuman.
